Dreame D10 Plus Gen2 does not dock or charge

Hi my new dreame robot does not dock. It keeps docking and undocking as shown in this video. I have tried factory reset and reinstalling the dreame app but to no avail.

As a result of this problem, robot is not charging and the app shows it offline.

What could be the reason ?

This may happen due to loose contact between the charging contacts of the dock station and the robot. Please check -

1. If there are any black/brown deposits on the contacts, scratch off that deposit using a sandpaper or any rough material and then wipe it off with a cotton swab dipped in acetone (nail paint remover)

2. Check if the contacts on the dock station are able to move up & down when gently pressed with fingers. If the contacts are stuck, it may lead to poor contact.

These two can be the main possibilities. In case it still doesn't resolve, please share picture of both the charging contacts so that we can have a better look.

I did what you suggested and it seems to be working!
At least it's not repeatedly docking like it used to, anymore. It's right now charging. Will let you know the status afterwards.
The app is showing me as offline. Do you know how to fix this ?

Think I spoke too soon. After about 20 min of docking, it started again. That is, the robot is repeatedly trying to dock back without success.

Don't see issues with the other contacts either. They press easily.
