DREAME X40 IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY

I have many issues. First of all, when I first got the device, It was cleaning very well, with no dust or stains left after the cleaning. As time passed, the cleaning performance gradually decreased. The brush wasn’t spinning at all times, the detergent sensor never worked, there were dust particles left after cleaning etc. I had changed all settings for max cleaning performance, like enabling deep cleaning mode, setting water temp to high, high frequency of brush and mop extension, etc. I also cleaned all the parts of the robot in accordance to the dreame instructions, and used only the dreame cleaning liquid. Yet there has been no change. For a 80000Rs device, this is very disappointing.

Hi,
It may seem that the product is working in the "clean genius" mode. Please check by changing it to custom and set specific clean plans for each room as per your requirement. CleanGenius intelligently decides cleaning strategy on its own and may not produce results as per your requirement.

Cleaning solution addition works depending on the dirtiness of the pads. If pads are not dirty enough, it may not add the solution.

I also observed that the plastic protective film is still on the robot. I highly recommend removing it as it will hinder the LiDAR and cause robot to move erratic
