Dear Dreame Family,
Have you noticed the side brush bristles on your robot vacuum looking a bit bent, curled, or out of shape after bumping into furniture, carpet edges, or corners over time?
Deformed bristles can reduce your robot's edge-cleaning efficiency. But don't worry! You don't need to rush to buy a replacement just yet. You can easily restore the bristles to their original, straight shape using just a little hot water.
Here is a quick, step-by-step guide to bringing your side brush back to life: 🛠️ Step-by-Step Side Brush Maintenance
1. Remove the Side Brush
First, turn off your robot vacuum and flip it over. Carefully detach the side brush from the base.(Note: Depending on your specific Mova model, you might need a screwdriver to remove it).
⚠️ Caution: Please handle hot water with extreme care to avoid accidental burns or scalds.
2. Prepare Hot Water
Pour hot water (80°C–90°C) into a suitable, heat-resistant container. Make sure it's hot but not actively boiling.
3. Dip the Bristles
Submerge just the bent plastic bristles into the hot water for a few seconds. You will see the heat naturally reshape the bristles back to their straight, original form. Once they look good as new, take them out.
4. Dry and Reinstall
Wipe the brush dry with a clean cloth, or leave it to air-dry completely in a well-ventilated area. Once it is 100% dry, snap or screw it back onto your robot.
It’s that simple! This quick maintenance trick will extend the lifespan of your accessories and keep your robot's corner-cleaning performance at its absolute best.
