[Maintenance] Complete Robot Vacuum Care & Maintenance Guide

Keep your robot vacuum running like day one! While the full step-by-step walkthrough lies in the video above, here is a quick, high-level summary of the essential components covered in this maintenance guide.

🏗️ Base Station Care

  • Water Tanks: Keep things fresh! Periodically empty and rinse the used water tank to eliminate bad smells, scrub the clean water tank to prevent scale buildup, and replace the scale inhibitor as needed.

  • Washboard Auto-Clean: Let the system do the heavy lifting. Use the app to trigger the automatic washboard deep clean, then do a quick manual rinse of the filter and wipe down the dock contacts.

  • Dust Bag Replacement: Simply slide out and discard the used dust bag every few months, wipe down the internal filter slot, and pop a fresh one in.

🤖 Robot Care

  • Dust Box & Filter: Regularly empty the dust box and tap out the filter. Give them a water rinse when needed, but always ensure they are 100% air-dried before putting them back.

  • Main & Side Brushes: Hair tangles happen. Pop off the brushes, use your cleaning tool to quickly slice away wrapped fibers or hair, and clear out the brush slots to keep them spinning smoothly.

  • Mop Pads: For optimal mopping quality, detach the cloth pads, rinse them clean, and allow them to dry fully to prevent mildew and odors.

  • Wheels & Sensors: Keep your robot driving straight and navigating perfectly. Clear out debris from the main and omnidirectional wheels, and use a soft, dry cloth (or cotton swab) to gently wipe down the navigation sensors and charging contacts.
