Can 5 amps plug point used with 16 amps adaptor convetor for dreame x60

I'm in a indian rented home that is 14 years old and entire house has 5 amps plug point . there is no heavy wiring that has capabilities of 16 amps dreame x60 plug pin. I thinking to use a 5 amps to 16 amps convetor adaptor on the existing plug point and connect to dreame x60 . Will it work ?. I can't change the wiring since it's rented home.
